I gave this letter to Hayley on her 18th birthday. I have worried she didn’t know how I felt. I am glad that I had written it down for her. After Scott and I read the letter tonight, we weeped on the couch. We agree that all we need to do is change “I Love” to “I Miss”

I Love this letter and you Dawn for writing it to her. I am weeping now too. We need to tell our children these things regularly. They are precious and our my special gifts in life. They are here to teach us to be better… love you, miss Hayley XOs
Wishing health and happiness to those that knew Hayley and those that were given a second chance at life because of her . Hayley is dancing among us lifting our spirits with optimism, humor and love on her birthday and always! She made a significant mark in all of our lives and we will continue to celebrate her life!
